How does billing actually work?
Seats are counted on the first of the month and invoiced in advance. Add someone mid-month and you pay for the rest of that month only; remove them and the credit lands on the next invoice. Nothing is metered.
What counts as a seat?
Anyone who signs in. A cardholder who never opens the app still holds a seat; an approver who only ever approves does too. Accountants you invite from outside the company do not — external reviewers get read access to the close at no charge.
Can we switch between monthly and annual?
Monthly to annual at any point, and the remaining monthly balance comes off the annual invoice. Annual back to monthly happens at renewal rather than mid-term, since the annual price is already two months' discount.
Is there a minimum contract?
No minimum term on monthly, and no minimum seat count on Starter or Growth. Monthly cancels at the end of the month it is cancelled in. Scale is an annual agreement because the pricing is negotiated against volume.
What happens if we pass an entity or currency limit?
The add-on price applies from that month, and nothing stops working in the meantime — a payment is never blocked and a close is never held for a limit. You will see it on the next invoice with the month it started.
Do you charge for cards, transactions or FX?
No on all three. Issuing a card is free, physical or virtual; there is no per-transaction fee at any volume; and euro spend carries no FX markup. Spend in another currency uses the interbank rate once that currency is on your plan.
How do we cancel, and what happens to our data?
Cancel from the account settings — no call required. Your data stays exportable for ninety days after the last invoice, including the full audit trail, and is deleted after that unless you ask us to hold it longer.
Are these prices excluding VAT?
Yes. Every figure on this page is net of VAT, which is added at your local rate on the invoice. Businesses with a valid EU VAT number outside the Netherlands are invoiced under the reverse charge.
